This summer our class will celebrate a major milestone, our golden anniversary. Can you believe it has been nearly 50 years since we graduated from East High School? The Class of '68 Reunion Committee will sponsor the 50th Anniversary Class Reunion on August 3 and 4, 2018. The reunion committee selected the first weekend in August so our reunion will coincide with the annual Pine Grill Jazz Reunion which will be held on Sunday, August 5th at MLK Park. You and your guest(s) are cordially invited to join us for what promises to be the most wonderful reunion yet.
Here are the details for the 50th Anniversary Class Reunion Celebration:
50th Reunion Kick-off Social
FRIDAY, AUGUST 3, 2018 - 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
Fellowship Hall at Elim Christian Fellowship
70 Chalmers Ave. - Buffalo, NY
Cost: $20.00 per person
This informal social gathering will mark the beginning of the Reunion weekend where you will register, receive your reunion credentials and any updates on reunion activities. Enjoy the company of former classmates, share your memories and view photos from our time at East High and previous reunion celebrations. There will be light refreshments, beverages, music and dancing.
50th Anniversary Reunion Banquet
SATURDAY, AUGUST 4, 2018
RECEPTION: 5:30 P.M. - DINNER: 6:30 P.M.

Cost: $80.00 per person
The color scheme for the Reunion Banquet is Gold and Black. The event begins witb a reception at 5:30 p.m. and Grapevine staff will start serving dinner promptly at 6:30 p.m. We have selected a menu from which you may select one of two combination entrée dinners for your guest(s) and yourself: (1) Filet Mignon and Chicken Marsala or (2) Salmon and Chicke Marsala. If required you may also request a vegetarian meal.
After dinner you will be entertained by the incomparable Old School B-Boys, a popular local R&B group with a vocal repertoire that includes old school favorites as well as contemporary hits. There will be a cash bar during the reception and after dinner. There will be dancing throughout the evening.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The cost of the banquet also includes a very special commemorative souvenir for you and your guest(s). We have had some very nice souvenirs at previous reunions such as the Class of '68 watches and the digital version of the 1968 Eastonian Yearbook. To commemorate our Golden Anniversary the Committee has chosen a very special souvenir may well be the most impressive yet.

The total cost for the reunion festivities is $100.00 per person, but you may select either of the events your guest(s) and you wish to attend.
